Advanced Tail-Cuff Occlusion Technology
Designed for cardiovascular and metabolic research, the NIBP system uses a dual-cuff setup for precise and repeatable blood pressure measurements. The first cuff at the tail base occludes the artery, while the second, placed further down, senses arterial pulsation. This configuration ensures accurate readings of systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure. Prioritizing animal welfare, the system pre-warms the tail, delivering reliable results without invasive procedures or full-body heating.
Accurate Data Visualization
The NIBP system continuously tracks blood pressure changes to deliver a reliable reading. During each measurement, users can review signals from both cuffs to evaluate and accept the results. The system displays the data on-screen, which can be saved or exported. Output includes numerical pressure values in mmHg, along with graphical representations of the pulsation sensor signals and the pressure curve from the occlusion sensor.
High-Capacity Throughput System
Engineered for maximum efficiency, the automated system allows users to schedule precise measurement times for each subject. Blood pressure readings take just 16 seconds to complete. Subsequent measurements can be set 30 seconds apart, ensuring seamless data collection.
